Competitive Manufacturing is an innovation achieving wide acceptance by Australian industry as a tool to drive transformational change in organisations. It is a systematic approach to continuous improvement focussing on increasing customer value, improving customer and employee satisfaction, with clear benefits to the bottom line.
The Competitive Manufacturing Toolbox is designed using a constructivist, workplace and project-based learning pedagogy.
The scenario is a simulated manufacturing environment – Global Enterprises. The introduction establishes a case study of a company under pressure due to a downturn in sales and profitability. The solution is to implement competitive manufacturing practices. The activities in the resource relate to the case study creating a holistic, workplace-based learning approach.
The activities, photos and case studies are taken from authentic situations in manufacturing companies. Learners engage with the simulated workplace as they complete interactive tasks and solve problems applying the theory delivered through the resource.

Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) through their Screen Education brand, produce Study Guides to accompany feature film releases. ATOM has developed a strong partnership with FinPa to produce digital assets that support these Study Guides. Other film sites produced by ATOM and FinPa such as Ten Canoes, An Inconvenient Truth and Robots have featured advanced interactivity for the generation and sharing of content.
This national training resource funded by the Australian Flexible Learning Initiative (DEST) supports the delivery of Certificate IV in Public Safety (Community Safety) Woombalah Community Safety contains learning materials for both self-guided study and group collaboration. The teaching and learning resources can be delivered online or via CD ROM access for classroom, workplace and other independent delivery.

Cyllenius is based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The founder and CEO of the Cyllenius Foundation inquired via Multimedia Victoria re the best e-learning companies in Victoria. Of the companies recommended by Multimedia Victoria, Cyllenius chose FinPa. We have developed an engine that rapidly develops new titles re culturally significant characters, in multiple languages for the after school market in the US.
Developed for the Australian Information Industry Association, this resource toolkit forms part of a federal government initiative to encourage indigenous participation in ICT. The CD ROM was launched in Canberra in the Senate Alcove. FinPa New Media received special mention for delivering a quality product in a very tight timeframe.

Scene Savers: Communicating for safety at a fire scene is an innovative training resource designed to assist trainers and firefighters in the public safety industry with the development of specific communication skills required at a fire scene. They are presented with four different fire scenarios with a range of interactive learning activities.
This project was funded by Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) and is recognised by the building industry as a valuable OH&S resource. It is being used in a range of training programs. This CD ROM focuses on the necessary forms that need to be used in planning safety on a building site. This highly interactive training resource concentrates on the required language and literacy skills to effectively plan a safe work site.
This site depicts a corporate image of BIG! Big machine, Big career, Big future! Caterpillar Institute is the training arm of Caterpillar and is 50% owned by Caterpillar's Victorian and Tasmanian distributor William Adams. The site has a content management facility and database support to match skills with courses available.

This interactive, educational CD ROM was produced in conjunction with Fraynework Multimedia for the Department of Education and Training in New South Wales. Its purpose it to provide instruction for teachers, students and community workers in the gathering of stories from indigenous communities and using multimedia applications to format, display and publish these stories.
